VETERINARY SURGEONS
DR LIANG XUTIAN
Graduated with first class honors in Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Sydney in 2008. Xutian’s veterinary interests are in Behaviour, Nutrition, Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. She has successfully received her credentials as an IAABC Certified Dog Behaviour Consultant and is also the first KidsAroundDogs approved professional in Singapore. Dr Liang is also an Elite Fear Free Certified Veterinarian. She is passionate about educating the public on dog behaviour and the prevention of dog bites. Xutian’s home is filled with lots love, fur and barks from Solomon, a Singapore Special, Goji, an ex-breeding Frenchie, Mosie, a Chained Dog Awareness rescue and being bossed about by 3 rescue cats Matt, Twiky and Earl and her two children.
DR MELVIN TAN
Graduated with Honours from the University of Melbourne in 2009, with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree. He has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, internal medicine and dermatology. He believes in continuing education, and completed a post-graduate distance education course in Surgery with the University of Sydney in 2012. In his free time, Melvin enjoys weight training, calisthenics and hanging out with Terry, an adorable adopted Cairn Terrier. Terry was abandoned by his previous owners after being diagnosed with Patent Ductus Arteriosus, a congenital heart defect. Terry has since had surgery performed successfully by a specialist surgeon to correct his condition, and is a happy hyperactive puppy.
VETERINARY NURSES
DR HENG FU XIAN
Graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2011 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and started working in a busy 24h veterinary emergency centre in Melbourne, Australia. In 2016, he relocated back to Singapore to spend more time with his family and worked in one of the local veterinary referral centres. After a brief stint in the public service, Fu Xian returned to clinical practice, his original passion. His interests are in small animal emergency, critical care and surgery. He also strongly believes in animal welfare, working closely with clients to achieve the best possible outcomes in various situations. Outside of work, Fu Xian cherishes family time, and enjoys music, travelling and sports, especially soccer.
DR ANDREA ANG
Dr. Andrea Ang graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2022 with Distinction in her Bachelor’s of Veterinary Medicine & Surgery (BVM&S). In her undergraduate years, Andrea developed a passion for understanding animal behaviour as she recognised its importance in enhancing patient welfare. As such, she has been a Fear Free® Certified Professional since 2021. Additionally, as an avid writer and advocate, Andrea’s behaviour-related articles have been featured in top peer-reviewed veterinary publications in the UK and had earned her the Vet Studies Award by the British Veterinary Behaviour Association (BVBA) in 2022.
Upon graduation, in order to provide her clients and patients with high quality welfare-based care, Andrea enrolled in the highly competitive MSc of Clinical Animal Behaviour (CAB) online programme at the University of Edinburgh. Alongside her professional development, Andrea dedicates her time to family and friends, music, illustration, self-care, and food.
ELOISA ERIVE
Eloisa graduated with a DVM degree from the Philippines in 2012 and she has been helping and caring for pet animals since then. She worked as a Veterinary Technician in Dubai for 4 years before moving to Singapore in 2018. At work, she is passionate and dedicated to helping animals. In her free time, she dedicates her energy and love to her toddler and values quality time with her family.
ESTHER GOH
Esther is a marketing student from temasek poly however she has found great passion in working with animals and hence she has been has been actively working part-time in the animal industry as a grooming assistant, a canine caretaker and now at the clinic with us. She enjoys spending her free time with her most beloved dogs Teddy and Fairy, fattening up friendly community cats and volunteering at animal shelters!
ENRICA CHENG
Enrica graduated from Republic Polytechnic with a Diploma in Biotechnology in 2015 and has been working as a veterinary nurse ever since. Having a variety of pets growing up, Enrica's love for animals has blossomed into a passion for helping them. To further improve patient care, she went on to attain a Specialist Diploma in Veterinary Clinical Practice in 2017 and has plans to further her studies in veterinary science. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, yoga and spending time with her Syrian hamster, Luffa. She also likes spending time outdoors with her huskies, Angel and Bleu, bringing them to the beach, or for a hike and hanging out with fellow dog owners at the dog park.
DARRSHINI RAJAN
In a world where finding true joy in one’s career seems like an elusive dream, there are those like Darrshini, a Veterinary Technician with unwavering passion for animals. Having grown up with multiple pets, her love for furry companions was ingrained in her from a tender age. Everyday, she wakes up with a sense of purpose, knowing that her efforts contribute to the happiness and health of beloved pets and their grateful owners. Beyond her professional life, she is an avid artist and enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, adding flavour to her already fulfilling life.
JOYCE ANG
Joyce graduated from Republic Polytechnic with a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Her journey in the pet industry started as a retail assistant at Pet Lovers Centre, but her passion for pet care led her to explore pet grooming. She always ensures that every pet received the utmost comfort and pampering. Yearning for something more fulfilling, her love for animals have aspired her to pursue being a veterinary nurse. Making meaningful impacts on the lives of every pet in her care. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring different pet cafes and beaches with her own cherished pet pug, Taco.
KELLY HO
Kelly graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic with a diploma in Medicinal Chemistry. An avid animal lover since young, she decided not to pursue a career related to her diploma. Instead, she went into the veterinary industry and took up the Specialist Diploma in Veterinary Clinical Practice. She has been a veterinary nurse for 3 years and her love and passion for animals are still everlasting. She has 3 chonky dogs, Bobby the Chihuahua, Pudding the Poodle, and Lucky the Yorkshire Terrier. During her off days, she loves to play tag and cuddle with them for an afternoon nap. She also swims and lift weights in the gym to keep herself fit.
SHERMAINE SIM
After becoming a pawrent herself, Shermaine found her calling in the animal industry. Her cat, Whisky, has become the center of her universe and is what she looks forward to the most after work. Her hobbies are spending time with her family and cat on her days off. Shermaine hopes to be the person who eases every worried pawrent when they visit the clinic.

GEMMA
Gemma found her way to our clinic and despite our efforts to reunite her with her previous owner, it was not meant to be and she became our trusted feline clinic supervisor. She is our reliable and friendly clinic mascot that welcomes both canine and feline patients when they come through our doors. If she isn’t on the reception counter top, she can be found lying on someone’s lap (ours or a waiting client!). Update: Gemma has now been adopted by Rachael and loves a retired life indoors.
