DR MELVIN TAN

DR HENG FU XIAN
Dr Heng graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2011 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and started working in a busy 24h veterinary emergency centre in Melbourne, Australia. In 2016, he relocated back to Singapore to spend more time with his family and worked in one of the local veterinary referral centres. After a brief stint in the public service, Dr Heng returned to clinical practice, his original passion. His interests are in small animal emergency, critical care and surgery. He also strongly believes in animal welfare, working closely with clients to achieve the best possible outcomes in various situations. Outside of work, Dr Heng cherishes family time, and enjoys music, travelling and sports, especially soccer.
Dr Loh graduated with Honours from the University of Melbourne in 2009 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. She begun her career in a busy small animal/mixed practice clinic then joining the veterinary team at a large local university, she has treated a wide range of animals ranging from hamsters to dolphins. Throughout her 14 years working as a vet in Singapore, she discovered that the most relaxed and meaningful interactions occurred when meeting patients in their home environment.​ Dr Loh is owned by two rescued Singapore Specials and a Golden Retriever, who have trained her to offer plentiful snacks to elicit cooperation from her furry patients.
Dr Liang is on an extended leave of absence from the clinic and is not available for consultations.
Dr Liang graduated with first class honors in Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Sydney in 2008. Xutian’s veterinary interests are in Behaviour, Nutrition, Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. She has successfully received her credentials as an IAABC Certified Dog Behaviour Consultant and is also the first Kids Around Dogs approved professional in Singapore. Dr Liang is also an Elite Fear Free Certified Veterinarian. She is passionate about educating the public on dog behaviour and the prevention of dog bites. Xutian’s home is filled with lots love, fur and barks from Solomon, a Singapore Special, Goji, an ex-breeding Frenchie, Mosie, a Chained Dog Awareness rescue and being bossed about by 3 rescue cats Matt, Twiky and Earl and her two children.
Dr Melvin graduated with Honours from the University of Melbourne in 2009 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and has been passionately caring for animals ever since. With a keen interest in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and dermatology, Dr Melvin enjoys the challenge of non-routine procedures. He has experience in performing surgeries such as large tumour removals, reconstructive procedures, enucleations, cherry eye repairs, limb/digit/tail amputations, splenectomies, enterotomies, cystotomies, and complicated dental surgeries including oronasal fistula repairs and surgical extractions with mucoperiosteal flaps.
Dedicated to staying at the forefront of veterinary medicine, Dr Melvin completed a post-graduate course in Surgery through the University of Sydney in 2012 and continues to pursue professional development to enhance his skills and offer the best care possible.
Outside the clinic, Dr Melvin keeps active with weight training, calisthenics, and tennis.

DR LIANG XUTIAN

ENRICA CHENG
Enrica graduated from Republic Polytechnic with a Diploma in Biotechnology in 2015 and has been working as a veterinary nurse ever since. Having a variety of pets growing up, Enrica's love for animals has blossomed into a passion for helping them. To further improve patient care, she went on to attain a Specialist Diploma in Veterinary Clinical Practice in 2017 and has plans to further her studies in veterinary science. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, yoga and spending time with her Syrian hamster, Luffa. She also likes spending time outdoors with her huskies, Angel and Bleu, bringing them to the beach, or for a hike and hanging out with fellow dog owners at the dog park.

JOYCE ANG
Joyce graduated from Republic Polytechnic with a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Her journey in the pet industry started as a retail assistant at Pet Lovers Centre, but her passion for pet care led her to explore pet grooming. She always ensures that every pet received the utmost comfort and pampering. Yearning for something more fulfilling, her love for animals have aspired her to pursue being a veterinary nurse. Making meaningful impacts on the lives of every pet in her care. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring different pet cafes and beaches with her own cherished pet pug, Taco.

SHERMAINE SIM
After becoming a pawrent herself, Shermaine found her calling in the animal industry. Her cat, Whisky, has become the center of her universe and is what she looks forward to the most after work. Her hobbies are spending time with her family and cat on her days off. Shermaine hopes to be the person who eases every worried pawrent when they visit the clinic.
